Where can I learn about Forex?

There are lots of educational content, video tutorials, and training courses available online. Also, there are quite many offline Forex events around the world. Google and I am sure you’ll find something in your city or at least in your country.

usefulessential:
No matter where you start educating yourself, always remember, it is a long road to go. Never expect to learn a few tips, some simple entry trading rules and then suddenly start making lots of money trading Forex from your living room.

Think it that way. If you were off to learn about how to fix cars, how to become a car mechanic. You’d basically have to learn how each part of the car works, how to remove it from the car, and then fix it or replace it. You’d have to learn so many new words, know the name of each car part, how much they cost, where people can get them (new or used), etc.

In Forex you’d have to learn how the made is made (the main principle), available currency pairs, timeframes, margin, leverage, brokers, types of charts, technical analysis, candlesticks and their patterns, chart patterns, harmonic patterns, support and resistance, fibonacci, popular chart indicators (you cannot learn them all as there are thousands of them), pivot points, Elliott Wave Theory, divergences, breakouts, fakeouts, entry, exit, stop loss, take profit, market trades, pending orders, limit and stop orders, breakvene and trailing stop, risk management, scaling in/out, how to create your own trading strategy, etc.

Okay, I admit that you don’t need to learn everything, but you need to know at least basics of every and each of these things above and more.

When you discover your trading style you’ll know where to focus and then practice and learn more about those specific things.

For example, my trading style is DAILY chart and sometimes 4-hour chart for early entries. I use very few indicators and trade mostly on price action.
