Martello Vantage DX Extends Insight into the Microsoft Teams User Experience with AudioCodes SBC Reporting and New Dashboards

Microsoft-recommended modern workplace optimization SaaS expands capabilities in new release.

This release provides enterprise IT and unified communications (UC) teams with end-to-end visibility into each part of the Microsoft Teams user’s call path with the addition of AudioCodes session border controller (SBC) monitoring. To instantly identify the most critical issues impacting users, V3.7 also includes out of the box Microsoft Teams Performance Overview Dashboards.

Microsoft Teams is the world-leading collaboration and productivity tool for today’s hybrid workforce with more than 270 million monthly active users, and more than 12 million of these users now make voice calls using Microsoft Teams Phone across VoIP and PSTN. In a January 2022 report, Gartner predicted that by 2024, 20% of total Microsoft Teams active users will adopt telephony services for external calling on Teams.

The users’ experience with Microsoft Teams is only as good as the network and IT environment it operates in. Today’s release of the Microsoft-recommended Vantage DX monitoring and optimization SaaS for Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 takes aim at this problem, with deeper visibility into the most critical issues impacting users, to eliminate guesswork and resolve problems faster. New features in Vantage DX V3.7 include:



  • End-to-end insight into each part of the user’s call path by correlating the AudioCodes SBC call detail reports with Microsoft Teams call quality analytics. The new AudioCodes integration also proactively detects Jitter, RTT or Packet Loss for all Microsoft Teams calls using AudioCodes SBC to prevent network problems from affecting the user experience. These capabilities make it easier to identify which network owner (internal, ISP, third party) is responsible for any network related issue.



  • Out of the box Microsoft Teams Performance Overview Dashboards to instantly identify the most critical issues impacting users.
    • Top Affected Users and Top Affected Locations help focus IT resources on the most critical issues.
    • Global Heat Map shows regions experiencing the highest volume of poor calls, to identify how widespread a problem is and whether a local network or ISP issue is responsible.
    • All Good, Poor or Failed calls are identified by call type (Teams Call, Teams Meeting, Teams PSTN).
